2.0 Logitech Speakers

Logitech S150

Logitech-S150-laptop-speaker

The Logitech S150 cater more to those looking for convenience. They are small enough to be portable and they offer decent sound for their super low sale price. They connect via USB, with the cable reaching around 1.2m, which may be fairly short for desktops which are placed far away from your intended point of setup. Their 90Hz – 20,000Hz frequency response means very little bass is produced, so they may potentially sound rather tinny due to lacking that low end warmth. However, many users knew what they were paying for, suggesting that these little 2.0 speakers offer decent sound and are able to play reasonably loudly. There were a few reports suggesting that the volume buttons are annoying as they were quite hard to press, preferring a volume knob instead. The cable between the two speaker is reportedly also rather short, so they cannot be placed too far apart. All-in-all, the Logitech S150 are small and unobtrusive and in terms of sound, they are fairly decent for the price. But you may find yourself annoyed with the volume buttons and the short cable connecting the speakers.

Pros

  • Convenient plug and play speaker
  • Reasonable sound quality
  • Decent volume

Cons

  • Lacks some bass

Summary

The Logitech S150 is a hassle free speaker that delivers a decent audio quality at a great price.
