Bose SoundLink Color
Pros
- Pairs easily with Bluetooth enabled devices
- Excellent sound across the frequency spectrum
- Recognizable warm 'Bose' bass
Cons
- Bluetooth can get choppy depending on range
- Doesn't have a built-in microphone which allows it to act as a speakerphone
- Doesn't show how much battery is remaining
Bottom Line
The Bose SoundLink III is an excellent portable Bluetooth speaker that has the characteristic warm 'Bose' bass and overall excellent sound quality. It does however not come with a built-in microphone and it doesn't show the remaining battery life. The Bluetooth range is also a bit too short for some users.
The Bose SoundLink portable Bluetooth speaker has received positive reviews for its excellent device pairing, its great sound quality across the frequency spectrum, with the characteristic warm Bose bass. Users were also happy with its size and therefore portability along with its 8 hour battery life. Users were however critical of its Bluetooth range and the fact that it didn’t have a built-in microphone allowing for voice calls. The fact that it doesn’t show how much charge is remaining was also a negative aspect for some. The Bose SoundLink Color may be a bit on the expensive side for a portable Bluetooth speaker, but with the performance of this speaker, one is definitely getting what they payed for.

Sound performance takes the cake as the Bose SoundLink Color's most impressive feature. But wait, there's more. The colored design adds some much needed spunk to Bose's audio lineup, and the battery life is superb.
