Micca PB42X
Pros
- Pleasantly warm for some
- Clean treble
- Nice soundstage
- Solid build quality
Cons
- Lacks bass
- May be too warm for some
Bottom Line
The Micca PB42X bookshelf speaker is pleasantly warm for some and clean in the delivery of overall sound, however, this warmth was not appreciated by all, along with their thin low end.
The Micca PB42X bookshelf speaker received positive reviews for its warm mids, the crisp treble delivery by the silk dome tweeters, their open sound and their solid build quality. However, users did find that they lacked quite a significant amount of bass. Some also found that the mids were a tad bit too warm for them. All-in-all, the Micca PB43X bookshelf speakers were well received by users, however, like most bookshelf speakers, the low end is a bit thin for some.

The Micca MB42's classy, compact design makes it a top budget speaker when style counts, although Monoprice's MBS-650 sound better for even less.
